Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU overflow patients in a 10-bed unit.
• Monitor and manage hemodynamic and ventilator support for critical care patients.
• Assist providers with bedside procedures such as intubations and chest tube insertions.
• Facilitate bedside shift reports and perform nurse leader rounding as relief charge nurse.
• Maintain documentation using Cerner system and adhere to unit policies and guidelines.
