Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse Texas City, TX. This full-time position involves providing high-quality patient care in a busy emergency department with a focus on critical care, trauma, and stroke patients. Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (or compact license), Basic Life Support (BLS) (within 30 days), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with post-operative and organ donor patient care, evidence-based practice, and process improvement, strong patient and family communication skills, participation in multidisciplinary care coordination, and familiarity with ICU protocols such as AIDET, bedside shift report, safety rounding.
• Responsibilities: Manage and monitor critically ill patients, perform hemodynamic monitoring, administer critical care infusions, interpret cardiac rhythms, and support post-operative patients.
• Certifications: As listed above.
• Additional Information: Candidates must adhere to hospital policies regarding dress code (professional appearance in royal blue scrubs) and unit guidelines, including evidence-based practices, documentation standards, and patient-centered care. Flexibility for rotating weekends is required; no on-call shifts are scheduled.
