Position Summary

US Cabinet Depot is seeking a Packing Associate to prepare assembled cabinets and related products for shipment. The Packing Associate is responsible for inspecting completed products, securely packaging cabinets, applying protective materials, and palletizing orders to ensure they arrive at customer locations safely and damage-free. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality and supporting efficient warehouse operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect assembled cabinets and components for quality, completeness, and damage prior to packaging.
• Package cabinets, accessories, and related products using protective materials such as foam, corner guards, cardboard, shrink wrap, and strapping.
• Verify order quantities and product information against packing lists and shipping documentation.
• Label products, cartons, and pallets accurately for shipment.
• Palletize completed orders according to company standards and shipping requirements.
• Use pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to move products safely throughout the warehouse.
• Ensure packaged products are secured to minimize damage during transportation.
• Maintain an organized packing area and keep workstations clean and free of hazards.
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse operating guidelines.
• Communicate product quality concerns, shortages, or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
• Support other warehouse functions as assigned, including assembly, inventory, and shipping activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, packaging, or assembly experience preferred.
• Experience handling large or bulky products is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand packing lists, labels, and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
• Frequently lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds; team lifting may be required for larger items.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks using hands and arms.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.

• Cabinets arrive at customer locations free from shipping damage.
