Outpatient Dialysis Patient Care Technician

Schedule Overview: This role requires flexibility to work both AM and PM shifts. At this time our need lies more on the evening shifts. On average we are scheduling for 32 hours/week with this role. Shifts can begin as early as 3:30am for opening, and can end as late as 11pm if closing. Shifts are 10-12 hours in length and scheduled in advance. Saturdays are rotated, and Sundays the clinic is closed. More hours are available and neighboring clinics and teammates often fill in shifts at Lynnwood, Everett, and Marysville locations.

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you'll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
• Record vital signs and patient data
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Requirements

• Accredited High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalent
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience

The Wage Range for the role is $21.50 - $33.00/hour. Patient Care Technician ICHD Resident: $21.50 - $23.00/hour.If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position. Washington Exempt: $80,168.40/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $19.13/hour, Burien: $21.71/hour, Everette: $20.77/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.82/hour, Renton: $21.57/hour, Seattle: $21.30/hour, Tukwila: $21.65/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $17.13/hour
