Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- 1910 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Post-surgical experience (not OR) post recovery - urology, ortho and general, medical overflow; must be willing to learn and take on charge.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Peri Dialysis experience preferred.

Unit Details: Post-surgical Med-Surg unit caring for urology, ortho, general surgery, and medical overflow patients.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call. Expected to work at least one major summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, or Labor Day) or one winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day).

Special Requests: Block scheduling accommodated where possible but never a guarantee. Requested time off: up to 5 days in each 13 weeks can be automatically approved; anything more is subject to approval and time must be made up at the end of the assignment.

Floating Requirements: Customary float to Med Surg and Progressive.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
