HVAC TECHNICIAN

Brownwood, Texas

Rotating shift, mandatory overtime as needed

Train on Days

Monday - Friday

6:00 am - 6:00 pm

$22.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC systems and industrial chillers.
• Diagnose and repair refrigerated water chillers, air conditioning systems, and HVAC electrical components.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and determine root cause solutions.
• Test HVAC equipment to verify proper operation after repairs.
• Operate hand and power tools required for maintenance and repair work.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and document daily repair activities.
• Monitor inventory of spare parts and submit repair part requisitions as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned to support plant operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• EPA Universal Certification
• Journeyman HVAC Certification
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years of commercial HVAC repair and troubleshooting experience
• Experience servicing commercial HVAC systems and industrial chillers
• Technical or trade school training, preferred
• NATE, ASHRAE, or OSHA certifications, preferred
