To show our appreciation, we host regular company events and dinners, along with a week-long employee appreciation celebration every summer.What We Have to OfferUp to $37.85 per hourStarting pay $26.85 to $37.85 per hour (This pay range is based on a pay-for-skills program and is not based on experience)Additional $0.25 per hour for hours worked on 2nd or 3rd shiftAnnual negotiated increasesPay for Skills Program available to get to maximum payVacation and personal days available in the first year401(k) matchHealth Insurance – including medical, dental and lifeAnd much more!Your Work Schedule and Shift Information8-hour shifts2nd shift : 2:30 pm – 10:30 pmAbility and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends and holidaysPlant operation is 24 hours per day, 7 days per weekKey AccountabilitiesAs part of our manufacturing team, you will:Create high quality foods that are eaten EVERYDAY, NATIONWIDEUse TECHNOLOGY in an industry-leading facilityWork with HIGH-LEVEL operators on EXPERIENCED teams that are looking to pass down their knowledge to workers WILLING TO LEARN and get paid doing itChallenge yourself to get the JOB DONE RIGHT and gain skills to take with you to your next opportunityFollow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environmentProvide technical support and plant leadership for equipment troubleshooting and equipment modificationsMaintain facility equipment supporting productionPerform both uptime and down time preventative maintenance in adherence to the Master PM schedulePerform correction maintenance work ordersPerform daily rounds/checks of ammonia systemTroubleshoot pump recirculating systems and liquid transfer systemsTrain others on Utilities systems such as engine room, freezers, etc.Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives in order to increase platform performanceReport unsafe conditions to plant safety personnelAssist with training new employees as neededAttend meetings and trainings as requiredPerform additional related tasks as assignedMinimum QualificationsTechnical degree in industrial maintenance or related fieldContinuing education in maintenance/technical skillsComputer Maintenance Management Systems experiencePriority will be given to those possessing a current HazMat Technician Level Emergency Response Certificate and/or CIRO or CARO Certification through RETADemonstrated leadership abilityMust be able to lift up to 50 lbsMust be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including: standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfacesAbility to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platformsAbility to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net and gloves when requiredWilling and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environmentAbility to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditionsWilling to work around industrial high-speed moving machineryAbility to work with allergens that might be present in a food environmentEligibilityApplicants must meet a minimum 18-year age qualification.Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE)General Mills is an equal opportunity employer.
