Utility Technician

What is a Utility Technician? At Wisconsin Oven, a Utility Technician is responsible for installing various utility systems, like water, gas, and electrical components, on our industrial ovens.

We do not expect an applicant to have all the necessary skills. We are committed to on-the-job training for the right individual! Growth potential within the role and the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Read technical drawings, reports, and work instructions.
• Perform electrical wiring and assembly.
• Perform gas, water, and air assembly.
• Thread piping, bend conduit, and assemble, as needed.

Education and/or Experience

• High School Degree or equivalent required; three to five years of related experience preferred but not necessary
• Lean Manufacturing experience
• Ability to read tape measures, basic math
• Blueprint reading skills are a plus
