This full-time, 32-hour position is based on the Mid Coast Hospital campus and offers a Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays.


As a Wound Care RN, you'll work closely with providers and an interdisciplinary team to assess, treat, and monitor patients with acute and chronic wounds. You'll provide patient education, coordinate care, perform comprehensive assessments, and help develop individualized treatment plans that promote healing and improve quality of life. This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy building meaningful relationships with patients, providing education, and seeing the direct results of their care over time. You'll join a supportive team that values collaboration, clinical excellence, and compassionate, patient-centered care in a specialized outpatient setting.


For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 Sign-on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!
o Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
o Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.


Summary:
The Registered Nurse - Wound Care role is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care in the treatment of patients with complex wounds, ostomies, or continence conditions.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing program required. Bachelor's Degree required (BA or BSN).
2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current Wound and Ostomy Nurse Certification (CWON) required or must achieve within one year of start date. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Positions in Home Care will require a valid Driver's license.
3. Experience: One year of relevant experience preferred.

The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package.

The pay range for this position is $37.09 to $50.17 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
