Location: Bethesda, MD - 100% Remote MUST have strong financial/mortgage industry exp

USFT is seeking a dynamic individual to support its product delivery team. The ideal candidate is passionate about business analysis, is a self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision. The business analyst will be responsible for defining, analyzing and documenting business requirements to support the creation of a new Mortgage-Backed Securities securitization platform. Additionally, they will participate and play an active role throughout the product delivery lifecycle.

Key Job Functions

• Gather business requirements and break them down into relevant, accurate and detailed user stories and/or functional requirements.
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and decompose high level information and translate it into business documents.
• Collaborate with product owners and key stakeholders to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
• Contribute effectively to the design discussions w/ software developers incl. solutions architect level developers.
• Ability to interact w/ customers and breakdown the requirements into business process flow and wireframes.
• Able to guide the conversation on UI front-end development.
• Able to communicate and present documents with external clients and other non-Product delivery teams such as Info Sec and Risk etc.
• Demo the feature(s) of application the BA is responsible for to internal clients and other applicable stakeholders as needed.
• Lead reviews of operations documentation (procedures, operating manuals) with internal and external stakeholders, as needed.
• Review test cases for quality assurance and to ensure they cover all the relevant business scenarios.
• Prepare and present meeting materials for key internal and external meetings (agenda, action items, minutes)
• Triaging incidents and defects as part of the SDLC process
• Familiarity on maintaining JIRA hygiene for created stories such as fix version, account and EPIC link.
• Participate in status meetings with business and other key stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required

• Conceptual understanding of serverless architecture and Infrastructure as a code
• Experience creating screens and wireframes in FIGMA
• Experience in working with DynamoDB, AWS AppSync, AWS Lambda is a plus
• Knowledge of MBS Securities and securitization is a plus
