Details Level A Emergency Department with 38 beds across Rapid, Main, and POD 3 (psych safe) areas Staffed with 7 day-shift RNs, 7 night-shift RNs, and 5 mid-shift RNs Uses vent, BiPAP, EKG, art lines, Belmont rapid infuser, and chest tube equipment Meditech EMR used Performs procedures including port placement and chest tube management Shift schedule is 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM Floating to Brookside ED may be required Minimum of 4 weekend shifts and 2 Friday shifts required per 4-week schedule Coverage required for 2 major and 2 minor holidays Requirements Active MO or compact RN license required BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted) TNCC certification required CPI certification required (SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA may be accepted in lieu of CPI based on facility requirements) De-escalation course completion required; CPI preferred Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required Strong prioritizing and time management skills required No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration Two professional references required for Missouri placements Additional Information Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity emergency department setting Team-oriented environment valuing patient focus, attention to detail, positive attitude, and coachability Navy blue scrub attire required POD 3 unit has specific psychiatric safety policies Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted American Traveler Job ID P-750490.
