Responsibilities Address various aspects of client performance to enhance their engagement in activities that impact their health, well-being, and overall quality of life. Select and adapt appropriate occupational therapy treatment models, methods, and approaches on a case-by-case basis to guide the intervention process effectively. Implement interventions that optimize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL). Recommend adaptive equipment when necessary and provide training in its usage. Offer guidance and education to family members and caregivers. Observe, document, and report on progress related to both short-term and long-term treatment goals.
