Academic Hospitalist Physician

Our organization is currently looking for Board Eligible or Board-Certified Internal Medicine physicians to join our expanding academic hospitalist programs at various locations in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Job Overview

As a hospitalist, you will deliver comprehensive inpatient care to patients from the moment of admission until discharge. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough histories and physical examinations
• Creating and executing evidence-based treatment plans
• Coordinating care to enhance patient outcomes
• Implementing strategies to improve health and safely reduce hospital stays through efficient medical practices

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including fellow hospitalists, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), residents, and fellows, promoting a team-oriented approach to patient care.

Work Schedule

The positions generally operate on a 7-on/7-off schedule with 12-hour shifts, offering both day and night options.
