2nd Shift Warehouse Recycling Team Lead - Kalamazoo, MI

Eat. Sleep. Move Beer. Repeat: Our 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Leads organize and recycle product returned to the warehouse and also check-in our delivery trucks daily. We take great pride in choosing Team Leads who can handle the hard work, show a positive attitude, display leadership skills, and work great with a team. This 2nd shift position works full-time, Tuesday-Friday (That's right...a 3-day weekend!) from 1pm-10pm.

The minimum compensation for this role is listed below; pay will be determined based on experience:

A Day in the Life

• Arrive to the warehouse on time and ready to work
• Collect forklift/pallet jack, scanner and iPod
• Prepare for drivers by getting pallets ready for returned product
• Check each delivery truck as they return to the warehouse for returned product and recyclables
• Crush glass, compact cardboard, load other recyclable products on trailers
• Organize empty kegs to be returned to suppliers
• Repack and stock returned product
• Replenish inventory
• Clean the docking area and wash delivery trucks
• Provide direction and support to teammates
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
• 18 years of age or older
• Leadership skills
• Basic computer skills to use an iPod and warehouse management software
• Flexibility to work with varying shift end times
• Attention to detail and a sense of urgency to meet deadlines with accuracy
• Ability to lift and carry an average of 30 pounds, repetitively, and move up to 165 pounds
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per day
