Job Description The role of the TRIO Sommelier BASIC PURPOSE: The Trio Sommelier is a position of expertise in wine that enhances the dining experience. The successful candidate is able to communicate with staff, management, suppliers, and guests. The Sommelier must be quick to react to customer requests, complaints, and unusual service situations. You must be approachable and able to share your knowledge with staff and guests in a confident, welcoming, and professional manner. This also requires managing inventory and sales to improve profits and meet financial targets. This position does require authorization to work in the United States.
