Position Summary
Fraser Eye Care Center is seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a crucialrole in providingexceptional patient care by conductingvarious ophthalmic diagnostictests ordered by the physician and manage patient data using our electronic medical record system.
Responsibilities
- Obtain patient's chief complaint, present illness, and medical history.
- Perform vision acuity and refractions.
- Conduct ophthalmic diagnostic tests such as visual fields, OCT, Pentacam, IOL Master, iTrace, Optos fundus, and angiography, as ordered by the physician.
- Manage patient data efficiently using the electronic medical record system.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Multi-task and thrive in a busy, fast-paced setting.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED.
- Certification in COA or COT preferred.
- Proficient with computers and electronic medical records (EMR).
- Ability to perform diagnostic testing.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Availability to work at multiple Fraser Eye Care Center office locations.
