Position: Ophthalmic Technician Location: West Bloomfield, MI Job Id: 333 # of Openings: 1 OPHTHALMIC TECHNICIAN Michigan Locations: Fraser, Port Huron, Rochester Hills, Royal Oak, and W Bloomfield Position Summary Fraser Eye Care Center is seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a crucialrole in providingexceptional patient care by conductingvarious ophthalmic diagnostictests ordered by the physician and manage patient data using our electronic medical record system. Responsibilities Obtain patient's chief complaint, present illness, and medical history. Perform vision acuity and refractions. Conduct ophthalmic diagnostic tests such as visual fields, OCT, Pentacam, IOL Master, iTrace, Optos fundus, and angiography, as ordered by the physician. Manage patient data efficiently using the electronic medical record system. Provide excellent customer service to patients. Work collaboratively within a team environment. Multi-task and thrive in a busy, fast-paced setting. Qualifications High school graduate or GED. Certification in COA or COT preferred. Proficient with computers and electronic medical records (EMR). Ability to perform diagnostic testing. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Availability to work at multiple Fraser Eye Care Center office locations.
