Pay Rate: $21.86 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, hangars, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns related to access, property, and/or operations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and follow established post orders for restricted areas, deliveries, and after-hours access requests.
• Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol findings, and daily activity, and support security-related operations during weather events, medical situations, and/or other critical circumstances.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
