Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and reliable Phlebotomist to join our team at our busy Full Circle Clinic. This fast‑paced clinic serves a diverse patient population and offers hands‑on experience with point‑of‑care testing (POCT), making it a great opportunity for candidates who thrive in an active clinical environment. Pay: Starting at $19/hour, negotiable based on experience. Schedule: Full‑time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Medical, Dental, Vision with In‑Network & Custom Network discounts. 401(k) with discretionary employer match. Paid Time Off. Free clinical diagnostic laboratory testing performed in house. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service, answer phones, and monitor instrumentation alarms. Perform venipuncture for blood collection, obtain additional specimen types as required, and prepare all samples for lab testing and screening. Verify specimen information, enter data, and properly identify patient information. Handle specimens: receive, process, and package samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity. Follow safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participate in quality assurance. Cover work shifts at different sites as needed to keep operations running smoothly. Maintain consistent, punctual, and reliable attendance to support the team and patients. Education & Certification High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience. Preferred: POCT experience. Pediatric phlebotomy experience. Patient‑oriented, helpful, and team‑oriented mindset. Excellent communication skills with patients and coworkers. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care. Adaptable, reliable, and eager to support a busy clinic environment. Physical Requirements Laboratory setting with automated equipment emitting ambient sounds. High level of staff interaction in close quarters; must hear alarms to respond to safety needs. Regular handling of potentially infectious samples with required protective gear (lab coat, gloves, goggles, face shield). Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, crawl, twist, and walk on uneven surfaces throughout the day. Frequent bending, extended standing, and lifting up to 30 pounds. Flexibility to work extended hours or overtime as needed. OSHA Category: This role involves exposure to blood, body fluids, and/or tissues. Hepatitis‑B vaccination is offered to all performing these duties.
