Phlebotomist

Job Overview Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Winchester, TN. The new hire will work Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the possibility of traveling to additional sites as needed. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic procedures. Data‑entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year phlebotomy experience (preferred). Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program is acceptable in lieu of work experience. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation and ability to work overtime as needed. Pass a standardized color‑blindness test upon hire.
