Modern Healthcare Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and culturally competent Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team in Tampa, Florida. Work Environment\nThis position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work-life balance while ensuring accessibility for our clients. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility to accommodate the needs of our diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct in-depth, culturally sensitive mental health assessments that allow for a thorough understanding of patients’ unique histories and concerns. \n
- Develop personalized treatment plans that employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual cultural contexts, personal experiences, and clinical needs. \n
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing a wide range of mental health issues, fostering resilience, and promoting emotional well-being. \n
- Engage in collaborative practices with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care. \n
- Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support for patients facing mental health emergencies, equipping them with coping strategies and resources. \n
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, discussing treatment options and the community resources available for enhanced support. \n
- Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards using our electronic health record (EHR) system. \n
- Actively participate in case reviews, team meetings, and ongoing training on cultural competency to continuously enhance our service delivery. \n
- Stay current with research and best practices in mental health care to provide the highest quality of service. \n

Qualifications\n- \n
- A valid license in the state of Florida as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- A deep understanding of mental health disorders, along with a commitment to integrating evidence-based practices into therapy sessions. \n
- Proven experience delivering individual and group therapy with an emphasis on cultural responsiveness and inclusiveness. \n
- Strong skills in crisis intervention and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism. \n
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to establish rapport with diverse client populations. \n
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related software. \n
- A commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical standards in all interactions. \n

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably focused on diverse populations and community-based mental health care. \n
- Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. \n
- Engagement in cultural competency training or similar professional development activities. \n
