As a Teller you will engage in assisting customers with various financial needs, processing transactions, and providing exceptional service while upholding compliance and risk policies. Responsibilities Provide an elevated level of customer service by welcoming customers, minimizing wait times, and assisting with banking needs. Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other transactions. Handle cash and maintain accurate cash drawer balances. Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, compliance and risk management protocols to prevent fraud. Recognize opportunities and cross‑sell bank products to deepen customer relationships. Engage customers and leverage digital tools to educate them on self‑service options. Assist with custodianship, audits, and other operational tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area to create a welcoming environment for customers. Support nearby branch locations as needed based on business necessity. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED required 6+ months cash handling experience. 6+ months demonstrated customer service experience. Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others. Ability to identify and elevate risk concerns to appropriate channels. Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures. Effective listening and communication skills. Comfortable using digital tools and technology to enhance customer engagement. Energetic, organized, and capable of multi‑tasking in a fast‑paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Computer proficiency and basic math skills. Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings. Preferred Qualifications Established work history or equivalent experience through work, training, military service, or education. Experience with Microsoft Office products. Spanish language skills preferred. Work Authorization & Sponsorship Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis without requiring employer sponsorship to commence employment.
