This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and the flexibility to adapt to changing operational needs.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate company-owned or leased vehicles for pickups, deliveries, and transfersProvide professional and courteous customer service during all interactionsPlan and follow efficient delivery routes to optimize time and fuel usageLoad and unload freight, ensuring items are properly secured and handledConduct pre- and post-trip inspections; report maintenance or safety issues promptlyComply with all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policiesComplete delivery documentation accurately and in a timely mannerCommunicate delays, incidents, or service issues to management as neededMaintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles and equipmentSupport warehouse and station operations as neededQualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 1 year of driving, delivery, or related experience preferredValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordFamiliarity with the greater Philadelphia areaTechnical & Professional SkillsAbility to safely operate trucks and delivery vehiclesStrong attention to safety, accuracy, and timelinessAbility to read maps, GPS systems, and delivery schedulesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamOrganized and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environmentWork SchedulePart-time schedule, typically 4-6 hours shiftsSchedule may vary based on operational needsConsistent attendance, punctuality, and reliability are requiredWork EnvironmentCombination of warehouse, office, vehicle, and outdoor workExposure to varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)Moderate noise levels in warehouse settingsPhysical DemandsRegularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach, talk, and hearFrequently required to bend, kneel, crouch, or liftAbility to lift and move up to 50 poundsMathematical & Language SkillsBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)Ability to read and interpret instructions, schedules, and delivery documentsAbility to complete reports and communicate effectively with team members and customersCompensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hourStarting pay is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, skills, and job-related knowledge.
