Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Lebanon, PA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend expected | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, with potential float to all MS floors and rehabilitation
• Care for a diverse patient population that may include post-open heart surgery patients (transferred from ICU, typically day 4–5 post-op), peritoneal dialysis, respiratory, cardiac disease, stroke, CHF, joint replacements, and observation patients
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for documentation and charting
• May provide care for COVID-positive patients as needed
• Work within a tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility environment
• Holiday coverage is expected; travelers are anticipated to work 2 of 3 major holiday periods (Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — no license encumbrances accepted
• ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• EPIC electronic health record experience required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard rate; local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Medical Surgical, Telemetry, or step-down/progressive care settings
• Familiarity with cardiac, stroke, post-surgical, or dialysis patient populations
• Ability to adapt quickly — travelers are expected to take assignments following 1 day of orientation
