Your Daily Mission

This role drives the leadership, management, and development of Centauri’s Software Engineering function. Software Engineering includes Solution and System Architecture, Application Development, Database Development, and Systems Development (middleware, services, etc.) across multiple technologies and platforms. This role is focused on architecture as well as team and resource development, ensuring Centauri’s Software Engineering teams and individuals perform at the highest level, adhere to all Centauri technology standards and best practices, possess all relevant skills and experience required to meet technology delivery requirements, and possess required soft skills to contribute to a strong team environment. The role requires strategic knowledge of Centauri’s lines of business and business partners and product and alignment with the company’s goals. Similarly, the role includes developing deep understanding of Software Engineering team members’ desired career paths, skills, strengths, weaknesses, and experience and developing creating development programs to ensure highest performance.

Who You Are

• 5years' experienceleading or managingsoftware engineering professionalsand teams.
• Ability todevelop strategic, rationalsolutions to highly complextechnology architecture challenges driven byrapid acquisitions.
• Strong ability to developscalableapplications,cloud solutionsand platforms, and middleware solutionsthat allow forrapid scale and integration ofhighly complexenvironments.
• Very strongproblem solving and troubleshooting skills, with abilityto teach and coach these skillsto team leaders and members.
• Very strongsoft-skillsincluding negotiation skills, communication skills, and strong ability to de-escalate in a fast paced environment.
• Strong coaching and personal development skills and strong interest in developing high functioning teams.
• Strong knowledge and ability to learnnew technologiesfocusing onGCP serverless and datatechnologies.
• Enterprise and system architecture patterns and development techniques.
• Required understanding and ability to learnquicklythe environment and standards drivingCentauri cata, clinical, and interoperability platforms and applications.
• Knowledge of best practices around systems development Dev/Sec/Ops and deployment at scale.
• Strong cloud and data engineering knowledge.
• Experience managing Director, Manager, and Individual Contributor level software engineering professionals.

• Responsible for hiring, firing, career development, and promotion of team members within the Software Engineering function, in close partnership with delivery and business service lines.
