Head Wrestling Coach

Overview Location: Burlington County Institute of Technology - Westampton Campus Position Summary: BCIT is seeking a dedicated Head Wrestling Coach to join our athletic program. The ideal candidate will hold a NJDOE Teacher Certification or a valid Burlington County Substitute Teacher Certification and have prior experience in wrestling. Candidates should be familiar with NJSIAA rules and regulations and demonstrate knowledge in sports training and conditioning, injury prevention and management, and principles of human growth and development. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. This position requires varied hours. Responsibilities Provide leadership and instruction as the Head Wrestling Coach. Ensure compliance with NJSIAA rules and regulations. Develop and implement training, conditioning, injury prevention, and development programs. Communicate effectively with athletes, staff, and parents. Manage scheduling, practices, and meets in coordination with school athletics staff. Qualifications NJDOE Teacher Certification or valid Burlington County Substitute Teacher Certification (required) Minimum experience in wrestling, as determined by the Board Familiarity with NJSIAA rules and regulations Knowledge of training, conditioning, injury prevention, and human growth and development Strong interpersonal and communication skills Salary & Benefits Stipend: $10,311.00 Additional Information Must pass criminal history background check Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status required Must establish NJ residency within one year of hire EEO/AA Employer BCIT prohibits discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, citizenship, age, sex (including pregnancy), disability, genetic information, or any other protected status under federal, state, or local law.
