Location: Portland, OR $22.50 per hour Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements:

• Experience operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts required.
• Previous order picking and warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Duties:

• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Pick and prepare customer orders and case picks.
• Palletize products for shipment.
• Perform inventory counts and stock verification.
• Verify incoming and outgoing products against packing slips, purchase orders, and receiving documents.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computer systems.
• Follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred.
• Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Stand Up Forklift Operator.

Physical Capabilities:

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
