A senior writer with 8–10+ years experience focused on social-first concepts, brand storytelling, and platform-native copy. This role originates ideas and crafts compelling copy for social, brand, and shopper channels. Skilled in collaborating with designers and building concept decks for marketing clients that are rooted in strong behavioral insights.

Accoutabilities:

• Create social-first content rooted in platform norms and community behavior
• Execute rapid-turn content tied to cultural and social moments
• Write captions, scripts, hooks and platform-native copy
• Build client-ready presentation decks
• Collaborate closely with designers, social comms and brand teams
• Optional: Lo-fi content ownership (i.e. ability to create lightweight memes, reels, short videos)

Own:

• Always-on social concepting and creation (copy focused)
• Brand voice development across platforms
• Ensure all copy meets brand standards and tone guidelines

• Partner with designers & photographers on social content
• Collaborate with community managers on CGO

Veto:

• Projects submitted that don't fit brand standards

Critical Stakeholders & Relationships:

• Director, Creative
• US Brand teams
• MLT

Qualifications, Education, & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree & 10+ years of professional experience at an agency, or in-house creative team.
• Expertise in social content copy and creation

Skills Needed To Be Successful:

• Ability to collaborate across creative disciplines
• Proven ability to multi-task, work quickly and stay organized
• Familiarity using AI tools for efficiency

Compensation:

Compensation offered to prospective Team Members has taken internal equity into consideration and can vary depending on a positions' location. The final agreed upon wage may vary based on the job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the individual.

• Competitive annual salary $106,000 - $133,000 in Chicago, IL
