TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Peru, Illinois, 61354!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Active state nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; PALS preferred Must-Have: Previous travel experience preferred Description: Local rate applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles. Cancellation policy is in place. Unit has 40 beds total. Nurse to patient ratios are 1:5 during nights. Common diagnoses include pneumonia, heart failure, sepsis, COPD, urologic surgical, total joints, and general surgery. Collaboration with Patient Care Technicians is expected for nursing care tasks. Charge nurses take 1-2 patients while overseeing unit operations. Patient Care Technicians ratios on days are 1:8-10, evenings are 1:9-10, and nights are 1:10-12. RNs are responsible for monitoring telemetry strips. This unit requires shifts on weekends and during holidays. There may be a floating requirement to other units based on staffing needs. Scrubs must be solid color and tasteful. Charting is conducted using EPIC.
