PCCC Leadership Development VISTA Fellow

Passaic County Community College (PCCC) is seeking an AmeriCorps Leadership Development VISTA Fellow to strengthen the Men of Color Success Initiative. The fellow will develop, implement, and evaluate leadership training programs for mentors, volunteers, and students, while engaging campus partners and securing program sustainability. Responsibilities Research and disseminate best practices in leadership development and training for students. Develop a comprehensive leadership training program for program mentors/volunteers, with an emphasis on cultural awareness, competence, effective communication, and conflict resolution. Engage campus partners in facilitating culturally responsive leadership training seminars for program mentors and volunteers. Monitor participation of MOCSI members, program ambassadors, and other PCCC students in leadership development workshops and non‑service student engagement events. Document and evaluate leadership development workshops and other non‑service student engagement events. Work with staff to apply for funding to ensure program sustainability. Help organize leadership summits. Provide monthly progress reports and participate in program evaluation. Participate in training and professional development activities. Serve on campus committees.
