Job Title: Analyst I, Student Services Coordinator Job Details Location: Auburn, CA Work Type: Permanent, Full Time, Hybrid Working Conditions The majority of the work will take place in one of the following locations: a DOR open office setting, offsite community, events, partner locations, or an approved alternate work location. The incumbent must have the ability to work in an office setting for up to 40 hours per week and remain at a workstation for extended periods while utilizing a personal computer, peripherals, and other office equipment. The incumbent will work in an office setting with natural and artificial lighting. Strong interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively with consumers, the public, colleagues, and other stakeholders. Regular travel may be required. The position is hybrid, in‑office/telework. Incumbents must live and work in California. Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Team Manager, the Analyst provides analytical support to arrange, coordinate, and monitor DOR Student Services for Potentially Eligible and eligible students with disabilities ages 16 through 21. Duties include: conducting eligibility and priority for services determinations; coordinating services such as training, assistive technology, supported employment, customized employment, job placement supports; providing direct post‑employment services for individuals who find jobs as a result of DOR services. Minimum Requirements Relevant education, experience, or certification to qualify for the position. Ability to assess needs, provide guidance, and monitor progress for students. Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal teams, external partners, families, and stakeholders. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of DOR resources, processes, and relevant regulations. Desirable Qualifications Ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external contacts professionally. Problem‑solving skills for expeditious resolution of service requests. Organizational skills and proficiency with office equipment and processes. Knowledge of the Department’s mission and goals.
