Reports to: Activities and Entertainment Director

Compensation: $18-$20/hour, depending on experience and qualifications

The Activities Coordinator will assist in the daily operation of resort activities and events, providing hands-on support in delivering exceptional guest experiences through various recreational programs.

Primary Responsibilities

Program Implementation

- Lead daily activities including arts and crafts, fitness classes, and social events

- Assist with evening entertainment programs and special events

- Support children's activities and outdoor recreation programs as needed

- Maintain activity spaces and equipment

- Track participation numbers and collect guest feedback

Guest Services

- Serve as a primary point of contact for guest activity inquiries

- Promote upcoming activities and events to guests

- Assist with activity registration and check-in procedures

- Provide excellent customer service and problem resolution

- Support special requests and custom activity arrangements

Administrative Support

- Maintain accurate activity schedules and program information

- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering

- Complete daily activity reports and participation tracking

- Support marketing efforts through social media content creation

- Assist with departmental communication and coordination

Required Qualifications

- High school diploma required, Associate's degree preferred

- 1+ year experience in hospitality or recreation

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

- Current First Aid and CPR certification

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

- Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds

- Ability to demonstrate activities and games

- Comfort working in various weather conditions
