Program Aide
Golden Pond Adult Day Program
Job Description Golden Pond Adult Day Program is seeking to hire a Program Assistant to work on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Program Assistants are responsible for: Providing assistance to participants including personal care Working with medical day care staff members in order to effectively implement and carry out organized services and activities to meet the needs of each participant Serving meals Feeding participants as needed Assisting with transporting and escorting participants to, from and within the day care facility as needed Assist with toileting participants as needed Observing participants and immediately reporting any changes in their condition to the nurse Using universal precautions when caring for participants to prevent the spread of infection Taking care to prevent the breakdown of participant’s skin Assisting with program activities Daily straightening of supply storage areas and activity areas after use Assist participants on and off the van Assist participants with ambulation as needed Interested applicants must be high school graduates or have their GED and be able to pass a criminal background check. CPR/First Aid certification preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
