Senior Scheduler

Senior Scheduler Location: Ridgeland, Mississippi Overview Garver is looking to add a Senior Project Scheduler to our growing company with our Enterprise Solutions Scheduling Services Team. Overall, this position will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and maintaining critical path schedules for multiple projects. Responsibilities Develop, review, and maintain critical path schedules for multiple projects. Lead and manage scheduling efforts on large and/or multiple projects. Develop baseline schedules and oversee schedule development and maintenance. Perform periodic project controls reporting and lead setup/reviews of project controls status (cost contract, WBS, schedule, resources, etc.). Support claims evaluation and mitigation issues and monitor compliance and reporting non‑compliance. Mentor Schedulers/Junior Schedulers and lead training for project teams. Develop scheduling materials for proposals. Resolve scheduling issues that occur. Provide expertise in Project Controls Methodologies and a proficient understanding of contract documents. Collaboratively use judgement to determine adaptations in methods for non‑routine assignments and lead limited teams for small projects and portions of large projects. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 10+ years of experience with project scheduling. Proficient knowledge of EPPM and other scheduling software, including web versions. Expert user of Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Project. Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Willing to work flexible hours and travel up to 10% of the time. Preferred Skills Associate’s degree in construction technology or construction management. Experience in the construction and contracting industry standards. Thorough knowledge of construction sequencing. Benefits Competitive salary package.
