Maintenance Service Technician

Our client, a leader in scientific instrumentation support, is seeking a Service Technician to join their team. As a Service Technician, you will be part of the Service Department supporting technical repair and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a customer-focused attitude, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization. Location: Bellevue, WA Pay Range: $27 Shift: Day shift What's the Job? Demonstrate understanding of electronic theory and mechanical skills to troubleshoot, and/or repair instrumentation and components. Maintain Standard Work, daily management routines and goals, and cross-training matrices. Perform sophisticated unit repairs that may include soldering, wiring, replacement of inoperative electrical and/or mechanical parts. Help support a teamwork-oriented culture to ensure all service to customer- or company-owned equipment is completed accurately, efficiently, and on time. Quickly cross-train on new tasks and new instrument families, utilizing lean manufacturing concepts to help plan and implement continuous process improvements. What's Needed? 2-year technical degree or equivalent work experience. 2+ years of related work experience. Proven mechanical proficiency and ability to interpret sophisticated drawings, schematic, and wiring diagrams. Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds and performing tasks requiring manual dexterity. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
