Responsibilities
- Perform the professional functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients in the L&D setting.
- Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care in collaboration with the health care team.
- Meet the established Standards of Nursing Practice and promote cooperation among team members.
- Monitor patient status, document findings, and respond to changing conditions with appropriate actions.
- Support families with education and discharge planning relevant to labor and delivery care.
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and adherence to infection prevention and quality standards.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Eligibility to practice as a traveler for the duration of the assignment
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in an L&D environment
- Demonstrated commitment to high standards of nursing practice and patient safety
- Must meet any additional job-specific requirements as provided by the employer
