Job Description & Requirements
- Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care
- Discipline: RN
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 12 weeks
- 40 hours per week
- Shift: 8 hours, days
- Employment Type: Travel
Required Experience
- Experience in Pre-Op and Phase II PACU Recovery
- Must have experience recovering post-cardiac catheterization patients
- Comfortable caring for adult and occasional pediatric patients (<18 years) (no infants under 12 months)
Required Qualifications
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
- Active Illinois RN License
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- PALS (AHA)
Preferred Certifications
- Trauma Nurse Specialist (TNS)
- Emergency Communications Registered Nurse (ECRN)
- Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN)
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
Patient Population
- Primarily older adults
- Occasional pediatric patients (under 18 years), which is why PALS is required .
