Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Registered Nurse for operating room duties in a busy surgical unit. The role involves providing perioperative care for a variety of surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assist with all phases of surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes or emergencies promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and surgical procedures in EMR systems.
• Adhere to facility policies, infection control protocols, and safety standards.
• Provide postoperative care and patient education as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 1 year of OR experience.
• Proven ability to work efficiently in high-pressure surgical settings.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment, and protocols.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications preferred.
• Ability to float across multiple units and adapt to different surgical cases.
