Job Summary To recognize out of the ordinary circumstances such as sickness and injury and know the appropriate steps to follow. To help ensure the mental and physical health and well-being of the patients. Education: One year certificate from an accredited college or technical school Licensure/Certification: Valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Missouri. Experience: Three to six months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Experience/Skills: Requires Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook email. Order medications Transcribe MAR's Assure accuracy of medication dosages and times Attend to minor injuries and determine need for medical attention Document and collect data on patients Schedule appointments, medical and psychiatric Complete dictation Check vital signs, heights, and weights of patients Collects specimens for labs per doctor’s orders Schedule tests for patients, transport patients, complete yearly re-licensing and review corrective actions Assist physicians and staff as needed Physical & Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
