Sub-Acute, Long-Term Care is a sector of healthcare with growing potential and work-life balance flexibility (no weekends or on call). We are seeking a part-time (16-24 hours per week) Attending Physician/Medical Director for our Casa Real Center in Albuquerque, NM, with potential float to nearby centers. This dual role involves clinical responsibilities. Candidates must be BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with LTC experience. AlignMed Partners is a national group dedicated to improving health outcomes in skilled nursing and senior living facilities. Our team includes physicians, NPs, and PAs supported by experienced clinical leadership. Responsibilities Work with the Center Medical Director to ensure clinical services meet our mission, overseeing implementation of clinical programs and standards. Report primarily to the Regional Medical Director, with accountability to the Center's Administrator and Medical Director. Take full responsibility for patients admitted to your service. Complete credentialing and visit patients timely per policies. Ensure complete history and physical exam documentation within 72 hours of admission. Deliver high-quality care and collaborate with the Medical Director to improve facility care. Serve as a role model and promote our mission within the community. Coordinate care with hospitals and other institutions. Adhere to compliance, legal, and regulatory standards including HIPAA and the False Claims Act. Participate in orientation, training, and report concerns promptly. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications M.D. or D.O. required. Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine preferred, with maintenance of certification. Geriatrics specialization is desirable.
