The purpose of this job is to support Gravure Imaging equipment uptime, best practices, and related consumable usage/supply chain management while maintaining customer quality and delivery expectations.This includes gravure cylinder equipment used for;Cylinder Base repairBallard shell removalElectromechanical engravingCopper and Chrome Electro-plating linesAll cylinder transport/storage equipmentCylinder and parts cleaning equipment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESMonitor and/or Maintain Gravure Imaging cylinder manufacturing equipmentCopper & Chrome elelctro plate linesEngraving equipmentBallard shell removal equipmentWork in Progress (W.I.P.) & Long Term Storage (LTS) systems and overhead cranesProvide copper and chrome electro plate line chemistry control and auditingApply Maintenance Control system to monitor equipment needs;Preventative MaintenanceReactionary MaintenancePredictive MaintenanceCollaborate with plant Production Support (Electricians, Mechanics, Facility) personel for safe and proficient equipment needsCollaborate with equipment vendors for safe and proficient equipment needsSupport monitoring and best practices as it relates to supply chainSupport Misc. production duties when demand volumes peakImplement training material and best practices related to all production and equipment support needsJOB REQUIREMENTSAppropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on an equivalent basisEducation:High School Diploma or higher educationKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Prefer past experience in production/manufacturing environment, an apptitiude towards rotogravure print workflows and mechanical machine repair. Knowledge of the Cylinder Ballard shell process is helpfulPHYSICAL DEMANDSManual Dexterity: Work requires definite skilled and accurate physical operations requiring some closely coordinated performance.Physical Effort:Must be able to sit or stand for long periods oftime and work requires regularly lifing and bending.The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 to 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Person must also be able to frequently push / pull cylinder carts using >45 lbs of force. Candidates must be able to bend and lift constantly, performing repetitious tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere.
