MRI Technologist - Per Diem - Day

Role Overview This position involves performing high-quality MRI imaging in accordance with physician orders, ensuring patient safety, and providing excellent patient care. Responsibilities include preparing the MRI room, operating imaging equipment safely, processing images, maintaining supplies, and adhering to sterile and safety protocols. The role requires evaluating image quality, educating patients across age groups, and managing contrast agents. Providing responsive customer service, verifying patient identification, and maintaining confidentiality are essential. Safety measures include monitoring radiation exposure, performing equipment checks, and responding effectively to contrast reactions and emergencies. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED Radiologic Technologist Certification or ARRT-MRI Certification Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) and BLS certification Knowledge of MRI procedures, radiation safety, infection control, and patient handling Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Preferred: 1 year of MRI experience and cross-sectional anatomy expertise #J-18808-Ljbffr Azza HealthCare Agency
