Material Handler II

Job Title: Material Handler II Job Location: Norcross, GA Duration: Full-Time Shift Schedule: First shift 5am-2:30pm Monday - Thursday, 5am-9am Friday Summary: This role involves managing the flow of materials within the warehouse and production areas, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in inventory control, order picking, and shipment preparation. The position requires adherence to safety and regulatory standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities:
- Understand various systems used in Inventory Control (SAP, DR, etc.).
- Pick orders for shipments and production.
- Pack products for shipments.
- Deliver staged materials to specified couriers.
- Verify quantities for Distribution.
- Maintain proper storage of hazardous waste in the Hazard Room.
- Operate mechanical equipment (manual and powered) safely and in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain equipment and storage areas in a neat and clean manner to meet housekeeping standards.
- Align with all corporate and government guidelines (SOP, GMP, Procedures, etc.).
- Perform all duties in a safe manner and align with all corporate and government safety guidelines.
- Prepare Domestic, Import, and Export shipments, including paperwork preparation and communication with freight forwarders.
- Maintain packaging supplies and pallet inventories as needed.
- Coordinate Courier shipments using established Fed-Ex and UPS systems.
- Receive, store, pick, retrieve, stage, and deliver raw materials and W.I.P. used in production.
- Support the receiving process as required.
- Deliver non-production items to appropriate parties throughout the facility.
- Store released materials in accordance with established warehouse procedures.
- Pull and stage materials using a pick slip or material movement document.
- Store materials in their proper environment and log the location of both W.I.P. and finished goods.
- Ensure all material going to customers is essentially free of visible dust or other debris.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Previous experience in pick/pack/ship and equipment operations is required.
- Data entry skills.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
