Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia

Overview The position requires participation in an on-call schedule, which includes a quarterly weekend call obligation assigned randomly among team members using a name generator. The call schedule typically spans Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with designated roles as primary and secondary backup. Staff will be exempted from call duties during weekends that coincide with planned time off (PTO). Weekday call duties average one call shift, which occurs Monday through Thursday from 7 PM to 7 AM, approximately every six weeks. The work schedule encompasses a variety of shift lengths, including 8, 10, 12, 16, and 24-hour shifts. Responsibilities The team manages a diverse array of procedures, covering both general and complex cases, such as kidney transplants, thoracic surgeries, orthopedic procedures (including trauma), bariatric surgeries, podiatric interventions, gynecological surgeries, neurosurgery, MRI/CT imaging, cardiac and vascular surgeries, obstetrical procedures, and regional anesthesia blocks.
