Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Travel)
Location: Maryville, TN
Type: Contract
Shift & Schedule: 3x12 Night Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36 Hours Per Week | Every Other Weekend | Floating Required

Pay Rate: $49 - $56/hour (Based on Experience)

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse – Emergency Room for an exciting Travel or Local job in Maryville, TN.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department setting.

• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity.

• Administer medications and treatments using Omnicell system.

• Document all patient care accurately in EPIC EMR.

• Respond to medical emergencies, trauma cases, and critical conditions.

• Assist with procedures and support physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition promptly.

• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control guidelines.

• Float to other units as required based on staffing needs.

• Deliver compassionate care in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN License.

• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room (ER) experience.

• At least 1 year of EPIC EMR experience.

• BLS (Basic Life Support).

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).

• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale).

• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention).

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred.

• Prior travel nursing experience.

• Strong critical care and trauma exposure in an Emergency Department setting.

• Ability to work independently in high-acuity environments.
