Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for oncology patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, using established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Collect relevant data, assess needs, analyze findings, and develop a plan of care; implement interventions and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.
- Administer medications per orders, monitor patient responses, manage side effects, and participate in safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, case managers, and other staff; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide patient and family education, reinforce treatment plans, and document care and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EPIC).
- Prepare patients, rooms, and equipment for procedures; assist with minor procedures as directed; delegate tasks appropriately and supervise assigned staff as needed.

Requirements
- California RN license (active)
- BLS or CPR certification from an approved vendor
- ONC/ONCC-CHIM certification (department-specific requirement)
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- 2–3 years of recent oncology nursing experience
- BSN preferred
- Able to work in a hospital setting with day-shift hours and rotating schedule
