Customer Service Representative

M-F 8am-4:30pm Job Summary: A Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments. This role supports warehouse operations by organizing load priority and coordinating with carriers and vendors.
Key Responsibilities

- Email and Telephone communication with customers and carriers
- Managing the daily inbound and outbound schedule
- Order processing and closing shipped orders in Warehouse Management system
- Occasional inventory checks per customer request
- Keeping organized files and records of all schedules, BOLs, and other paperwork
- Empty Container Inventory
- Assigning containers to orders based on age, size, weight and RailRoad allowances
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience is a plus
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using inventory management systems
- Knowledge of shipping procedures and logistics, specifically railroad/container
- Time management and problem-solving skills
- Office/Warehouse - Heavy equipment present
- PPE required for warehouse entry
- Possible overtime or weekend shifts during busy periods
- $22/Hour
