Forklift Operator

This role is responsible for safely moving materials throughout the warehouse, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate has previous forklift experience and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime available. Some Saturdays may be required.

Position Type: Temp-to-Hire (TTH)

Duties:

• Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
• Receive, inspect, and properly stage incoming materials.
• Pick, move, and deliver materials to designated production or warehouse locations.
• Prepare outgoing shipments and verify quantities against shipping documents.
• Maintain organized and accurate inventory locations.
• Perform material transfers and assist with inventory counts.
• Inspect products and materials for damage or discrepancies.
• Complete shipping, receiving, and material-handling documentation.
• Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and proper forklift operating practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, shipping, and receiving teams.

Position Requirements:

• Previous forklift experience required.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling preferred.
• Ability to safely operate a sit-down or stand-up forklift.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers and moving pallets/materials.
• Ability to read and follow shipping documents, work instructions, and labels.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required.
• Dependable attendance and commitment to workplace safety.

Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old. Able to Lift 50 pounds. Required education: HS Diploma or GED.
