Private Credit Senior Associate

We’re partnering with a lower-middle-market investment firm focused on mezzanine debt and minority equity investments as they look to bring on a Senior Associate to their team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct fundamental credit analysis on prospective and existing portfolio companies.
• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate credit structures, covenants, and risk/return profiles.
• Support deal execution, including due diligence, documentation, and portfolio monitoring.
• Collaborate with senior team members on investment strategy and sourcing opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, sector performance, and regulatory developments impacting the private credit landscape.

Qualifications:

• 3-6 years of experience in private credit, direct lending, leveraged finance, or related investment banking/corporate credit roles.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and credit analysis.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with middle-market transactions is highly preferred.
