Quality Control Specialist (Housing Programs) – Direct HireLocation: Miami, FL (Miami-Dade) – On-site Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) Salary: $55,000/year Start Date: Targeting October 19, 2026Job SummaryThe Quality Control Specialist is responsible for conducting quality control reviews, monitoring SEMAP performance, and supporting other quality-related activities. This role also trains staff on performance metrics and regulatory/program requirements and completes assignments to meet operational needs and objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform work that supports SEMAP performance, contractual standards, and other required performance measuresMaintain strong working knowledge of program regulations, federal guidance/notices, and internal policies and proceduresUse automated systems/tools (system of record, proprietary software, rent reasonableness systems, HUD PIC/EIV, and Microsoft Office—especially Excel) to complete quality activitiesConduct quality control file reviews in accordance with prescribed procedures and regulationsPerform ongoing SEMAP confirmatory reviews across indicators; report results, recommend improvements, and help forecast performance throughout the fiscal yearAssist with developing training tools, procedures, and job aids to strengthen staff knowledge and applicationConfirm error corrections in relevant systemsProvide feedback to management and corporate partners regarding quality observations and issuesSupport preparation for and participation in independent program reviewsSupport accurate and timely HUD PIC reporting and maintenanceMay assist with transactions such as new admissions, reexaminations, portability, and movesOther duties as assignedQualificationsEducation: Two years of college, business, or technical school (additional experience may substitute for some/all education requirements)Experience in quality assurance, auditing, or similar activities preferredMust obtain required certifications within specified timeframesKnowledge of HCV program requirements/policies/procedures strongly preferredStrong computer skills (Excel proficiency highly valued)Excellent organizational, analytical, and math skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively with diverse groups and in a high-volume, deadline-driven environmentEnglish proficiency required; Spanish and/or Creole is a plusSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
