Technology Consultant, Cybersecurity and AI Security

Technology Consultants are practitioner-led growth leaders responsible for expanding EPAM's cybersecurity and AI security business within strategic institutional accounts. Working in partnership with BU Field Organizations, account teams, sales, alliances, solution leaders, and delivery teams, the Technology Consultant identifies and originates opportunities, develops executive client relationships, shapes differentiated solutions, and orchestrates complex pursuits from qualification through contract signature and transition into delivery. The role combines cybersecurity expertise, commercial leadership, and delivery credibility. Technology Consultants translate client priorities into actionable cybersecurity programs that connect strategy, engineering, and measurable business outcomes. This is not a traditional standalone sales role or a day-to-day delivery leadership position. Technology Consultants use their practitioner experience to establish trust, shape the right client solution, mobilize relevant EPAM capabilities, and remain engaged through delivery transition and account expansion. Responsibilities Develop and execute cybersecurity and AI security growth plans for assigned institutional accounts Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, including CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, business executives, engineering leaders, and risk leaders Originate cybersecurity and AI security opportunities through client relationships, account collaboration, partner motions, market insights, and delivery-led expansion Lead complex cybersecurity and AI security pursuits from qualification through solution shaping, proposal development, commercial negotiation, and contract signature Orchestrate contributions from account teams, sales, alliances, cybersecurity specialists, solution architects, delivery leaders, finance, legal, and commercial teams Apply cybersecurity practitioner experience to shape credible, differentiated, and deliverable client solutions across areas such as AI security, cloud security, data and identity security, and security operations Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into clear business outcomes for executive and technical audiences Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders throughout the opportunity lifecycle Collaborate with Business Development Managers, account executives, alliance teams, delivery leaders, and cybersecurity specialists to create a coordinated client plan Ensure a structured transition from the pursuit team to the delivery team following contract signature Maintain a qualified pipeline sufficient to support assigned commercial objectives Provide disciplined and evidence-based forecasts based on client commitment, commercial progress, funding, competition, and delivery readiness Requirements Extensive experience in cybersecurity consulting, technology consulting, solution leadership, client advisory, or business development Demonstrated success shaping and closing complex cybersecurity or technology services opportunities Background in advisory, engineering, architecture, transformation, or delivery supporting strong cybersecurity practitioner credibility Experience working with senior client stakeholders and navigating complex institutional accounts Ability to translate client challenges into differentiated solutions and commercially viable programs Experience leading cross-functional pursuit teams across account, sales, solution, alliance, commercial, and delivery functions Experience managing a substantial opportunity pipeline and operating against measurable commercial objectives Understanding of the full opportunity lifecycle, from origination and qualification through contracting, mobilization, and expansion Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, platforms, and industry practices Skills in executive communication, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities for briefings, workshops, and proposal discussions Expertise in pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline Nice to have Experience working in one or more major industry sectors, such as financial services, insurance, healthcare, life sciences, consumer, energy, telecommunications, or critical infrastructure Experience with AI security, generative AI adoption, AI-enabled cybersecurity, or AI-native engineering Experience developing joint propositions or co-selling with strategic technology partners Existing relationships with cybersecurity, technology, engineering, or business executives CISSP, CISM, CISA, cloud security certifications, or comparable technical and industry credentials
